Our Story

Palimpsest Scholarly Books & Services is a new online bookstore founded and managed by Dr. Raul Delgado-Rodriguez, a Harvard-trained comparatist. It specializes in the buying and selling of scholarly and rare books, as well as providing services for collectors of such books, including the appraisal, cataloging and curating of libraries.

Palimpsest Scholarly Books & Services, located just outside of Ithaca, will also be holding auctions offering a selection of scarce and rare titles, as well as artwork featuring established artists from the Finger Lakes region of New York. We are happy to receive consignments of either books or artwork from residents of this or neighboring regions looking for high standards and reliability in the handling of collectibles and valuable possessions intended for auction.
