This is an early translation of "La Celestina" (1499), one of the greatest works of all Spanish literature, based on an "early version of James Mabbe's translation... from a manuscript in possession of the Duke of Northunberland and at present in Alnwick Castle." It was edited by Guadalupe Martínez Lacalle.
