Book is in fine condition, with firm binding, clean and bright interior. With numerous full-page b&w illustrations, a color frontispiece, and 2 tipped-in color plates. Fold-out at page 50 is well preserved. Dust jacket with Chagall illustration, with price of $7.50 on front flap, displays wear at edges of spine and covers. Jacket is preserved in mylar cover.
