Volume, measuring approximately 7.25" x 10", is bound in textured cream-colored leatherette, with stamped black lettering to spine and front cover. Book displays light shelfwear. Binding is sound. Previous owner's brief annotation appears at top of front pastedown. Pages are clean and bright.
Inscription on front flyleaf reads "Pour Daniel Eisenberg / bien cordialment / P. Geneste / Paris 15. Sept. 81". Letter, with the letterhead of U.E.R.: Etudes ibériques, dated June 10, 1977, is addressed to "Mi querido amigo" and delves into details of related works of Spanish literature.
Monograph devoted to the life and work of Spanish writer and military officer Jerónimo Jiménez de Urrea (1510-1573), who authored the first Spanish translation of Ariosto's 
"Orlando Furioso," the chivalric poem "Carlos I," celebrating the victory of Emperor Charles V at the Battle of Mühlberg, and the Chivalric romance "Clarisel de las Flores."
