Volume, measuring approximately 5.75" x 8.75", is bound in light green cloth spine, with black lettering, and green/white paper covered boards. Book shows wear at edge, with very minor loss at outside corners. Covers display mild rubbing. Binding is firm. Previous owner's name appears at top of front flyleaf. Table of contents has two check marks, one of the stories ("Bezhin Meadow") has markings, as does the first page of another ("Stuchit"). Interior is otherwise clean and bright. Russian text is accented throughout.
